The fried green tomatoes with horseradish sauce is the bomb, shrimp and jalapeño cheese grits was heaven, and the buttermilk pie, just saying, it really topped it off. Service was great!

Absolutely great everything, but the greatest is the Buttermilk pie You have to try it and get a pie for the road.Crystal is a sweetheart, great gal awesome service.And a beautiful little town.

Back again, review after this is from a year agoAnother great lunch with family. We had a knife and fork open face beef sandwich, tuna melt and a BLC sandwich....all great. Service was spectacular and friendly and the play list for background music is right up my ally. Always a great experiance.From 11/2018. Second time we have been here. This time with out of town friends. We wanted to give them the local feeling. Overall service and atmosphere were great for our lunch. Great ice tea and deserts(buttermilk pie and chocolate walnut pie)..although a little expensive. Fish Po-boy, Chicken melt and Tuna melt were outstanding, Caribbean chicken not so much. Fun place to share the real home town feeling of Greensboro.

Stopped here on our way to Savannah today. Atmosphere was awesome! Service and food was even better! You’ll spend 10-15 on average per person, and the food is so worth it! Will definitely go here again if driving by. Also, the buttermilk pie was amazing!!

This is a great restaurant, with superb food, exceptional service, and their pies are to die for. After a tragic loss of the owner, they closed. But the family later reopened the community’s best place to eat.

The Southerner Sandwich. It has bacon, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, sauce of sorts (?), & lettuce. Side of Tomato Bisque Soup. Dessert Chocolate Pecan Pie. All were good but a little bland. It needs something to kick it up a notch.

Great service! Great food! Great atmosphere! Our 10th grader server was amazing! Well mannered and on top of it all!

This is one of those rare restaurants that lives up to the small town, homemade reputation that it's location and decor suggest. I can not give it enough praise. The Pork chops were perfectly seasoned, the service offered suggestions that were oriented to a persons individual taste, and I can not say enough about their delicious BUTTERMILK PIE!
